All Things Urban

I am obsessed with wide leg jeans at the moment! I’m sure you will soon learn that in my upcoming posts…. On this crisp foggy Tuesday I have decided wrap nice and warm and paired them with my stone sweatshirt and mustard teddy coat. This is the perfect outfit if you are running errands or doing something super causal like meeting a friend for coffee like I was. I really like the overall look of this outfit as it has a really urban street feel to it.

I really love the blue wash of these jeans, they really create a casual vibe to any outfit I pair them with, and I find that they create this effortless shabby chic look. They are so affordable at £25 from Missguided! I would never normally buy my jeans from Missguided, I have always been a Topshop gal, a steeper price I know but I can never find anywhere else that fits me as perfect as they do! (I always have trouble finding a pair of jeans that is small on the waist but bigger on the thigh, I’m sure some of you can relate!!) But these jeans are amazing, they fit perfect. They are mid waist and sit just below the ankle so you don’t get them dragging along the ground, I got a size 10 in these which is true to my normal size so don’t worry about sizing up or down! Another reason I really like them is that they are so loose and comfortable, I can move so freely in them and don’t feel restricted when moving about. I highly recommend these if you are looking for an easy every day jean!

My yellow teddy coat is from Debenham’s …. I know!! I got it as a Christmas present from my Nan and I couldn’t be happier with it, I wear it absolutely everywhere! I never ever shop at Debenham’s, typically as it sells mainly to the elder demographic, but I think I will definitely give it more of a chance now. I have sized up in this as I really like the oversized feel to teddy coats, however I think my Nan didn’t quite understand what I meant and I ended up with a size 18! Nevertheless, I love it and think it is the perfect size! I think it really brings together my outfit and throws a bit of colour in the mix on top of my plain stone sweatshirt.

I have accessorized this outfit with a blue hair silk, they make such a simple hair style look so sleek and stylish. I own at least 3, I love them!! Keeping to the minimalist theme I’m wearing some small purple hooped earrings, adding a pinch of colour but not to in your face as after all I’m only doing odd’s and sod’s jobs all day!

I hope you love this look as much as I do, it is so easy to recreate and adapt! Outfit details are below…
